Connection (Part 2)

A few days ago I shared a post about Connection and it’s been very well received, especially by those in our JBL community, which signals me that the message is aligned with our core values (yay!). This brings me so much joy! Yesterday, probably drawing from that inspiration, this lovely poster came through.

About Us Joy-Based Living Connection

I’ve shared it with some of our inner circle, and again… it’s receiving great response. This is so exciting to me because JOY is such an elusive and broad topic that, although it’s highly desirable by just about everyone on the planet, it’s taken me a couple of years to observe and refine and articulate what we are doing and where we are heading, as individuals and as a group.

Joy is natural. Joy is organic. Blocking joy and resisting joy seems to be a “first response” to trauma. A “first draft”. A “childhood decision”. A “survival choice”. While this may have helped us survive, it actually prevents thriving. This is disastrous to the human spirit.

SO… I am celebrating, spotlighting, highlighting and cheering on those of us who are courageous enough to turn inward, face the “clogs” in our belief systems, and release these resistances through validation and compassion, through love (which may include tears). The only thing we can ever be free of is our own resistance. I’m just so flippin’ proud. Thanks to all of you who are doing your homework, you courageous amazing beings, you!!

Much love,

Happy D!
