Rehab for codependency Part 1, toxic shame and guilt O JOY! #cptsd #cptsr #teatime Lidija Rangelovska, Sam Vaknin

The power of your RESOLVE is everything when it comes to healing codependency and recovering the treasure that’s on the other side of it – a life that expresses your truest and most awesome sense of self. It’s lie-busting at its finest. Within your own psyche. With compassion. I highly recommend The 2 Main Lies that Keep Codependents Stuck to go along with this post.

Much love,

Happy D!

Debbie Happy Cohen is a master coach, and the founder of Joy-Based Living, an online global conversation where people develop the skills to create (internal and external) environments so that JOY can thrive in their lives.

Many people who are committed to having joy in their lives are people who have known its exact opposite. Therefore, we explore many aspects of joy, including its shadows. Awareness, acceptance and action are keys to opening the doors to greater joy; and courage is strengthened when people experience connection.

The Joy-Based Living E-book offers a foundation of 12 lifelong practices that can help you get in touch with your feelings, make a deeper commitment to yourself, and step up into becoming who you really are. It’s a great supplement any holistic practice, including therapy and coaching. https://joybasedliving.com/ebook/

  1. Good stuff, Debbie, including the so-called “nerdy” visual aids! (They seem nicely made & helpful to me… Does that make ME a nerd? I don’t think so!) Thank you for keepin’ it rollin’… Keepin’ it real… 😃

    1. LOL! Glad you’re enjoying the new format, I’m enjoying it too, it’s set me free somehow so I’m gonna keep it going. You don’t think you’re a nerd? Can you at least agree that you’re a grammar nerd, o bookeditorcoach?

  2. The “new format” may be freeing you up, at least in part, ‘cuz you’re not on camera, which allows you to focus more on your message. Yes? As for my “grammar-nerd-ness,” yeah, I concur. (Although being a “book editor-coach” seems to warrant it, I think.) But “nerd” as in “slavishly devoted to academic or intellectual pursuits” (Merriam-Webster definition), not when I’m appreciating an aesthetically appealing, clearly reinforcing visual aid you’ve made… And I seem to recall it was YOU who called YOURSELF “nerdy” for that visual aid… I simply don’t concur. 🙂
Still, your train is rollin’ along some good tracks, in my view, so good on ya’, Ms. Debbie! Good on ya’! 🙂

    1. Lol! I rest my case.
I think it’s more than the camera not on me, because I’ve done some where the camera was facing the valley on a beautiful day. I think the journal gives me something to “talk to”. A common map to look at together. Like a chalkboard. I’m looking for the right phrase, it’s still a new experience. Fun to explore and find things that fit!

      1. Loved both your replies, Debbie… As always, you’re indeed a Rocker. 🙂
