How self-abandonment perpetuates unhealthy leadership #quickrant #teatime

The only way we’re ever going to get better leaders is by ending self-abandonment first. We’ve got to come back to ourselves, heal our trauma on the inside so we can manifest awesomeness on the outside. After I recorded this rant, I debated about posting it. Then I read about another public shooting yesterday. WTF. Here’s my take. If we’re not aware of our emotional trauma – if we’re in denial – if we’re dissociated – we’re powerless to heal it. And it’s kicking our arses, people. Let’s heal emotional trauma (codependency, CPTSD, CPTSR). Learn and heal. Healing brings clarity and clarity is power. As within, so without.

Many people who are committed to having joy in their lives are people who have known its exact opposite. Therefore, we explore many aspects of joy, including its shadows. Awareness, acceptance and action are keys to opening the doors to greater joy; and courage is strengthened when people experience connection.

The Joy-Based Living E-book offers a foundation of 12 lifelong practices that can help you get in touch with your feelings, make a deeper commitment to yourself, and step up into becoming who you really are. It’s a great supplement any holistic practice, including therapy and coaching. https://joybasedliving.com/ebook/
