Love letter to co-narcissists #healing #CPTSR #CPTSD #codependency

(note: a co-narcissist is someone who has been targeted by a narcissist and is dealing with the effects of complex post traumatic stress (CPTSD / CPTSR / codependency))

I believe Love is the greatest power in the Universe. I have seen it work miracles time and time again. Recently, I had the honor and privilege of reading a few love letters between family members in 2 different families, expressing appreciation, positive belief, and support of one another. These letters made me cry, in a good way.

If you’re in the healing process after narcissistic abuse, my wish is for you to know how loved you are. For you to know that someone’s got your back. And that you are not alone. Ever.

So much love,

Happy D!

  1. Very good post (again), Debbie… Part of what you shared reminds me of a verse from an old Tuck & Patti song (yes, I saw them in Palo Alto in the 70’s!):
    “Tears of joy – hey,
    Wash you clean
Come on and let them set you free!”
    🙂

  2. That was an awesome post Debbie! Yes, we are resilient! we are compassionate, intelligent, creative, and so much more. We survived and have moved into thriving. As a recovered/ing co-narcissist, I so appreciate your work and the genuine love you have for others like me who worked so hard to achieve freedom. Many blessings, deJoly

  3. Thank you Debbie. My understanding of Co-Narcissist came from you.Thank you for directing us to your sources for deeper study.
Because of this understanding I am (imperfectly…still learning as I go) more respectfully and honoring of myself & my friends on this path.
This knowledge has liberated my feelings of guilt and confusion and unworthiness. And to boot, I am seeing others more clearly. A work in progress, still in the baby steps….and yet there is still a profound improvement in my relationships. Thank You! Blaze those Trails!

    1. Amen Sister. I love knowing you’re experiencing a profound improvement in your relationships. That’s Excellente’, my dear. You are so worthy of the very best.
