I care and I don’t care.

It’s a mantra that nuns tell themselves. Interestingly, I learned this from 2 credible sources, Clarissa Pinkola Estees and Carolyn Myss, when they interviewed each other. They were raised in Catholic schools and they recalled their memories of the nuns, their teachers, with great fondness.

This surprised me, as I always imagined nun teachers holding mean rulers in their hands. Media! You know.

Nuns who care for orphans and hungry and sick people have to maintain inner balance in order to be strong. But their great advice works in business, too.

I care and I don’t care. Empathy and compassion balanced with clarity and firmness.

My clients don’t pay me to be a loosey goosey. They thrive when I meet them from a place of confidence and clarity.

Sorry (not really 😊), but there is an attitude of I DON’T GIVE A SHIT WHAT YOU THINK underneath. And they can feel it.

One client recently thanked me for it in a testimonial. She told me that she is SO GRATEFUL that she can’t bully me or bulldoze me with her energy and strong will. YEAH!

I care and I don’t care.

When you know your truth AND your intent and heart are in the right place, DO YOUR THING. SHOW YOUR COLORS. SPEAK YOUR TRUTH. That’s what I’m doing here at this blog.
