Well the last couple of conversations with Pauline (our France member who is growing her own Joy-Based Living relationships) led me to this lovely man named Jon Young. (Youtube link below)
As a result, I can longer see JBL as separate from NATURE herself.
I felt humble to realize (during one of these conversations) that JBL was conceived on Lookout Mountain. I’ve been 100% inspired by her and supported by her since 2008 and have never declared this publicly or given such credit to the land and my relationship with her.
When I was at the bottom with no foreseeable options, she saved me. I am forever grateful.
I’m sitting at the brow right now and watching the sunset as I write this and I’m feeling her love and I’m feeling her smiling back at me.
Serendipitously, I came across this beautiful book on haiku.
It opened the door to a conversation about spirituality that I have wanted to engage for many years with the Joy-Based Living community.
It’s important to me that at JBL, spirituality feels inclusive and inviting.
Spirituality should always create feelings of connection… with Source… with oneself… and with others. For some of my closest friends, feeling connected to nature is their spirituality. For others, having faith in people is their spirituality.
The point is… we are all connected.
Honoring our connection and celebrating it makes us feel less alone in the world. More joyful. And maybe even wiser.
This book about haiku thrilled me because it includes all of that. And encourages us to see the world with gorgeous, nature-filled, rose colored glasses.
I encourage you to check it out… who knows… you might find yourself thinking in Haiku… and maybe sharing it with us!
Big big love and sparkly blessings to you!!
