Which animal would YOU like to be as YOU phase into YOUR New Normal?

log bridge from animal video

I love this video! I remember walking across such a “bridge” at a park in Tampa,Florida.

Surrounded by grass and trees, I felt like Rocky Balboa when I made it to the other side without falling into the water. I think I was wearing a dark blue skirt/ business suit at the time!

Personally, I love the bear.

Coaching tip:

Metaphors are an amazing tool for our amazing human imaginations. They can help us make transitions easier. They can help us imagine ourselves in ways that wouldn’t otherwise be possible. FEEL into the possibility that you would love most.

Imagine yourself being the animal you want to be walking across the bridge “your way.”  See yourself landing at the other side and jumping up and down in celebration, feeling like Rocky Balboa!

Option:

Choose a cartoon character instead of an animal. Example: Pink Panther. He’s just so gosh darn cool! Or Felix the Cat. He’d take out his bag of tricks! Your imagination is endless. USE IT TO STRENGTHEN YOUR CONFIDENCE AND YOUR DECISION ABOUT WHO YOU WILL BE.

  1. Ok, I’ll start. I was thinking of Jerry (the mouse) from Tom and Jerry. He is kind but doesn’t let himself get caught or conquered by Tom. And he doesn’t give up.
