The absolute worst part of trauma is that it it is an experience of DISCONNECTION from your SELF. From your light, your deepest knowing, your most magical, creative, empowered, radiant self. Your traction, your power and ability to focus forward depends fully on a strong positive sense of CONNECTION with your SELF.
Healing trauma means establishing a healthy attachment to yourself, first and foremost. THEN, and only then, can you establish strong, healthy relationships with others and can you move forward with balance, constancy and ease. Because then, and only then, you’re on stable ground, so to speak. With YOU.
Mantras for INTEGRATING MAGIC AND EMOTIONAL DEPTH
So, how can you reconcile the stirring up of “magic” (which feels really light because it’s the core of who you are) with honest awareness of “emotional depth” (which can feel heavy sometimes, as in the toxic shame that comes with cptsr, cptsd and codependency)?
In numerous attempts to integrate both polarities, I’ve come to see that they’re like oil and water (vibrationally speaking) in that they don’t mix very well. But they are both important for joy’s sake.
Here’s what I’ve come up with so far: Mantras for loving myself and Mantras for protecting myself. I welcome your thoughts.
With so much love,
Happy D!
