NOTE FROM DEBBIE:
This podcast is CLEAN LANGUAGE AND KID FRIENDLY. I am swearing to give up swear words during these podcasts because your young ones are at home and you need this info to be heard and shared freely!! We want you to be a great lioness during these times. We want to help you you be the calm amidst the storm. We know how much you love your kids and we know how much you care.
I love how we continue to discuss and offer such a beautiful range of topics! Yesterdays thoughts regarding meaningful conversations gave our listeners an opportunity to hear where we are coming from. My hope is that they too feel they can having meaningful conversations with their loved ones!
Me too. I just learned that my Auntie is a rad chess player. All these years, and I didn’t know that she used to beat my Uncle all the time. They just took out their chess set again. But lately, he’s been practicing “how to checkmate” online, so she’s a little scared 🙂 Last year, I learned about her – after all these years – that she – who was born and raised in Persia / Iran – has been a country music fan since she was a little girl. Because of all of the american soldiers, there was a radio station that played country and she would get to go to the army store (commissary??) and see photos of Elvis, etc. And when the army guys would move back to the USA, they’d sell their stuff before they moved and her dad would take her to buy all these American things from them. Cool, huh?!!
Who woulda thunk it!!??!!
Wow!! Who woulda thunk it?!?! From Chess Pro to Elvis obsession. So incredibly interesting! Talk about meaningful conversation! I wonder what other conversations are happening out there in the world now that we have all ‘slowed down’?
I wonder too… 🙂
