Healers and coaches, elevate your practice by including spirituality

A few thoughts about JOY and spirituality

Your joy is serious business. In a healthy, supportive environment, JOY would simply be a natural state of being. It would evolve as you grow. It would be supported in you and you would support it in others. With ease and grace. It would be natural.

However, in today’s modern culture, our JOY requires our utmost loyalty. If we want our JOY to develop, grow and flourish, we’ve got to fully be present to it.

Joy is more than an emotion. I believe it merges with the realms of spirituality.

At Joy-Based Living, our community, as well as our products and services honor, recognize and develop the radiance within each person. This makes you and everyone here – in my eyes – a temple for light.

A conversation about spirituality is so important. I think too many people mistake spirituality with being fluffy (or “woo”). True spirituality requires extreme focus and faith and diligence and practice and discipline. It requires facing your shadows and setting them free while identifying with the best in you and helping it thrive.

The tricky part of having a conversation about JOY and spirituality is that it’s not intellectual. It also goes beyond logic. JOY is a felt sensation. At the level of spirituality, it’s embodied light. If you know what I’m talking about… you KNOW.

What we focus our attention on grows. For this reason, my gratitude for you is multiplied. Thank you for co-creating JOY with me.

Much love,

Happy D!

  1. “…A higher standard” — Yep! I’m on board with that… and with supporting that… and encouraging EVERYONE to get onboard that train! 😉
