The harm of indifference and the healing power of love #cptsr #cptsd #codependency

If there was a simple healing formula for CPTSR, it would be an embodied experience of:

  • awareness
  • acceptance
  • articulation
  • allowing

The body knows how to heal itself. So does the mind. They work in tandem, they are connected at all times. My hope is that by sharing these messages, you will be able to improve your ability to articulate your experience so that you can hold space for it, which will give it room to release, heal, dissipate. You may find that you need professional attention from someone who can help you move through it. If you do, please seek it out. You’re worth it.

Much love,

Happy D!

  1. “Indifference can hurt and even kill a flower” (paraphrasing you, Debbie).. Since I love gardens, flowers, plants & trees, I see this metaphor as SO apt! In many, if not most cases, if we plant something in the ground without giving ANY attention (incl. watering) to it at all, it will–at the very least–struggle to survive (and therefore be strained and warped by the adversity), IF it doesn’t die first. I am no longer indifferent to my inner needs, desires and wants, and the “flower” of my life seems to be blossoming so much better than when I didn’t attend to such, due to my warped upbringing. Mainly, I feel inspired to give a shout-out to you and what you’re putting out there… Hope for healing, direction for healing, encouragement for healing, empowerment for healing. Rock On. 🙂

    1. Thank you so much. I’m so glad to know you’re practicing uber self-care. . . I think it’s so great you’re mentioning it too because it’s contagious, in a good way. Hearing others talk about it positively is so normalizing and life-affirming. Your contribution is so appreciated, as always.
